BILL GARVIN is a virtuoso guitar player,
singer, composer and arranger who plays a wide variety of music, but
specializes in a sophisticated blend of jazz and blues. He played his
first professional (paid) gig at age 10, and was inspired in part by his
father, who used to play cowboy swing music on the radio.
Bill is known as ARG (the Amazing Rock God) by many of his fans because of the way he plays familiar classic rock and blues tunes. He enjoyed some national success with the Larry Keyes Band, having a #3 hit and playing the same venues as Poco and the Charlie Daniels band. He has toured extensively, both in bands and as a solo artist, and has played everywhere from smoky honkytonks to huge festivals. His current CD, “Jacob’s Girl”, has sold quite well, and his next release, “Trebizon”, is out now. Bill Garvin resides in Apache Junction and performs regularly in the Phoenix area, as well as festivals throughout the state. He is also something of a humorist, and his monthly newsletter is popular with hundreds.

When his wife and partner Danger Gal
(Chris), took early retirement, garvin decided to have a second childhood
and started playing music full-time, going on the road , but quickly
decided the road wasn't always that great, and started pursuing a solo
career. After touring the U.S., settled in Phoenix, where he has played
many of the top venues, and gathered a loyal following.
